Celebratory Evensong

On Saturday evening we welcomed back our girl chorister alumni to sing in a special Friends of Bath Abbey evensong. The occasion was made even more meaningful as the alumni surprised our Head Chaperone, Delyth Cardy, who is celebrating a significant birthday this month. Delyth has been a chaperone since the very beginning of the girls’ choir, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year.

The girls even sang Happy Birthday to Delyth in Welsh, making it a particularly joyful and memorable moment.
