Congratulations to our crucifer (and ex chorister) Hugo

Hugo was in the boys choir until a few years ago and has continued his connection to the Abbey as a crucifer at the 11.30am service. Hugo is a lovely boy and continues to be part of the Crypt Club run by Melinda. We’ve recently heard the exciting news that he has been selected to attend the Olympic rowing development squad, working with Team GB coach Tim Selby at Bath University.

In April, Hugo will be representing Wales and the South West in the National rowing pairs competition, in Nottingham – see the photo here of them winning this heat early this month!
