The Adult Parish Choir of Saint Barnabas on the Desert has long been a cornerstone of the arts community in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 40-member ensemble performs weekly for worship services in addition to special concerts and events such as their annual Concerts on the Desert series. Beginning as a Mission Church in 1953 and opening its doors at its current location in the heart of Scottsdale in 1961, Saint Barnabas continues its legacy of professional music-making in both the sacred and concert classical music scene.

Amanda Aston Msc, Grad Dip Theol. Is passionate about Christian worship and plays violin at Bath Abbey, and for the RUH. She has been playing in the Bath Abbey worship team, at weddings and also lunchtime recitals for a decade. She has played regularly at St Michael’s Without and St. Swithin’s in Bath and Vineyard West Wilts. Also performing solo violin to the President of Singapore, frequently at the British High Commission, and also to Princess Anne in London.

Amanda enjoys arranging and playing violin in Jane Austen events such as 3 annual balls at St Swithin’s for the Genesis Trust, and in the Guildhall, No.1 the Royal Crescent for the Bath Preservation Trust. Also at Stourhead and Montecute House for the National Trust.

Amanda also plays violin at weddings, funerals and other events with her piano accompaniment in “Serenade Strings”.

She also teaches adults violin and has formed the first community Violin Ensemble for the University of the Third Age in Bath; “Simply Strings U3a”.

Recital included with general admittance ticket.

An Evening of Kate Bush – performed live by a full band, vocalists and string quartet in the ethereal surroundings of Bath Abbey.

Let Me In are back with a brand new show, exploring the evocative music of Kate Bush, on a UK Cathedral tour in late 2026.

After three years of sell out productions, including An Evening of Radiohead and An Evening of Pink Floyd, Let Me In Presents are proud to announce a brand new show, featuring a 10 piece band, accompanied by the ever-present Mike Nowland String Quartet.

The show will move through Kate Bush’s music chronologically, starting with the groundbreaking debut album – The Kick Inside – and delving deep into classics such as Hounds of Love and Never For Ever, until we reach the maternal warmth of 2005’s multi-award winning comeback record – Aerial, touching on everything in between.

Expect the classics – Running Up That Hill (recently featured in Netflix’s Stranger Things), Cloudbusting, Wuthering Heights, but also some rarities and hidden gems, including The Ninth Wive suite, from Hounds of Love,in it’s entirety.

This is a deep exploration of Kate’s music, curated by avid fans of her music for avid fans of her music.

Your band for the evening will be fronted by the sensational Lydia Gardiner (An Evening of Radiohead & Pink Floyd), alongside Eleanor Kinsey, Amelia Harrison, Lucia Carmignani, Colleen Curran, Alfie Woods, Bruce Higgs, Daniel Anketell, Josh Semans & Musical Director – Ewan Steady.

The band will be accompanied by very special guests and nationally renowned string players – the Mike Nowland String Quartet.

Join Classic FM presenter Zeb Soanes and St Martin’s Voices, from St Martinin- the-Fields in London, for an enchanting evening of words and carols as we enter

the Christmas season. The programme includes winter classics Silent Night and In the Bleak Midwinter, alongside beautiful new works by contemporary composers Lucy Walker, Cecilia McDowall and Reena Esmail.

Refreshments will be available to purchase during the interval along with CDs of St Martin’s Voices’ two albums for the festive season, ‘A babe is born: Music for Christmas’ and ‘A Winter Breviary: Choral Works for Christmas’.
